Activated Charcoal-Kaolin Oral Paste

Activated Charcoal and Kaolin Oral Suspension

An oral adsorbent suspension containing activated charcoal and kaolin. It is formulated to bind certain substances within the gastrointestinal tract and may be used as an aid in managing gas associated with particular food combinations.

Active Ingredients

Each 1 mL contains:

• Activated charcoal: 100 mg
• Kaolin: 197 mg

Dosage and Administration

Administer orally.

The dose may be repeated after 2–4 hours based on response or as recommended by a veterinarian.

Cautions

• Shake well before use.
• Do not administer to unconscious animals or animals that cannot swallow safely.
• Activated charcoal may reduce the absorption of oral medications and supplements. Consult a veterinarian before combining them.
• Do not use for an extended period unless directed by a veterinarian.
• If poisoning or toxin exposure is suspected, contact a veterinarian or animal poison-control service immediately. Do not rely on this product as a substitute for emergency veterinary care.

Storage

Store between 15°C and 25°C. Protect from light, moisture and freezing.
