Activon Manuka Honey

Activon Manuka Honey is a tube of 100% Manuka honey with no additives, filtered and sterilised for application to wounds.

Main Uses:

• Debrides and de-sloughs necrotic tissue; eliminates odours
• Provides a moist wound healing environment
• Indicated for shallow wounds needing debridement, pressure ulcers, surgical wounds, burns, graft sites and cavity wounds, or applied to a primary dressing

Directions:

• Apply to the wound as directed by your veterinarian
• Cover with an appropriate secondary dressing

Safety:

• Do not use in animals with allergy to bee stings (venom)
• Monitor patients with diabetes
• Initial discomfort on application usually subsides; if it continues, discontinue use and irrigate the wound with saline solution
