GABArex Calming Oral Solution is a palatable herbal supplement formulated to help dogs maintain calm, normal behaviour during stressful situations. Its convenient liquid format allows for easy, weight-based administration.

Although marketed as non-sedating, some dogs may occasionally sleep more while using the product.

Active Ingredient

• Valerian root extract (Valeriana officinalis): 6.875% w/w

Directions for Regular Use

Give by mouth twice daily for 4–6 weeks. After this period, continue only as recommended by a veterinarian.

Each pump delivers approximately 1 mL.

Directions for Predictable Stressful Events

Using the weight-based amount shown above:

1. Give one dose 12 hours before the event.
2. Give another dose 2 hours before the event.
3. During the event, give one dose every 6 hours, if required.

If the dog is already receiving GABArex twice daily, ask a veterinarian how the event doses should be coordinated with the regular dosing schedule.

Safety and Precautions

• For use in dogs only.
• Do not use in pregnant or nursing animals.
• Do not use before general anesthesia.
• Do not combine with central nervous system depressants unless specifically directed by a veterinarian.
• Some dogs may experience increased sleepiness or mild gastrointestinal effects, including soft stool or diarrhea.
