Metacam contains meloxicam, a prescription non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) oral suspension for cats. It is indicated for the control of pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders and post-operative pain. Available in 3 mL and 15 mL bottles. A valid prescription from a licensed veterinarian is required.
