Plasma-Lyte A Injection Solution is a sterile, balanced crystalloid fluid with acetate and gluconate buffers for dogs and cats.

Main Uses:

• Fluid and volume replacement for dehydration, blood loss, or intravascular volume depletion.
• Electrolyte replenishment (sodium, potassium, magnesium).
• Alkalinizing agent: source of bicarbonate precursors to help correct mild to moderate metabolic acidosis.
• Pre- and post-operative fluid maintenance.

• Dosage is determined by a veterinarian based on species, weight, degree of dehydration, and ongoing losses.
