Previcox contains firocoxib, a prescription non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) chewable tablet for dogs. It is indicated for the relief of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis and for the control of postoperative pain. Available in 57mg and 227mg strengths. A valid prescription from a licensed veterinarian is required.
