Rx B12 Forte is a highly concentrated, palatable liquid source of cyanocobalamin formulated for dogs and cats. Its convenient oral format makes daily vitamin B12 supplementation easier for pets requiring ongoing cobalamin support.
Main Uses
- Helps maintain normal serum cobalamin—or vitamin B12—levels in dogs and cats.
- Provides nutritional support for pets with confirmed or suspected cobalamin deficiency.
- Commonly considered as part of a veterinarian-directed management plan for pets with chronic enteropathies, exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI) or other conditions that may interfere with vitamin B12 absorption.
- Offers a convenient oral option for animals requiring ongoing cobalamin supplementation.
- The concentrated liquid formulation is particularly convenient for medium and large dogs.
Oral supplementation may be appropriate for many pets; however, it should not replace prescribed vitamin B12 injections unless directed by a veterinarian.
Active Ingredient
Each 1 mL contains:

Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin): 1,000 mcg
Inactive ingredients: Glycerin, water, D-fructose, natural flavourings of non-animal origin and potassium sorbate.
Directions for Use
Shake well before each use. Give orally once daily, either directly into the pet’s mouth or mixed with food.

- Keep out of reach of children and other animals.
- Consult a veterinarian before use in an animal with an existing medical condition or one receiving other treatments.
- Periodic bloodwork may be recommended to monitor serum cobalamin levels and response to supplementation.
