Strongid T (Pyrantel Pamoate) Oral Suspension for Horses, 600mL

Strongid T (Pyrantel Pamoate) Oral Suspension for Horses, 600mL is a caramel-flavoured pyrantel pamoate (50 mg/mL) oral dewormer for horses and foals over 8 weeks of age. Pyrantel interferes with the neuromuscular function of susceptible parasites, causing paralysis so they are eliminated from the gastrointestinal tract.

Main Uses:

• Treats large strongyles (Strongylus vulgaris, S. equinus, S. edentatus, Triodontophorus spp.)
• Treats small strongyles (Cyathostomum spp., Cylicostephanus spp.)
• Indicated for pinworms (Oxyuris equi), ascarids/roundworms (Parascaris equorum), and tapeworm (Anoplocephala perfoliata)

Directions:

• Roundworms: single oral dose of 6 mL per 45 kg body weight
• Tapeworms: single oral dose of 12 mL per 45 kg body weight
• Mix with the horse's regular grain ration or administer orally as a drench
• No fasting necessary; shake well before use
• Follow your veterinarian's recommendations for parasite-control schedules

Safety:

• For veterinary use only in horses and foals over 8 weeks of age
• Severely debilitated animals should not be treated
• Do not administer to horses to be slaughtered for food
• Keep out of reach of children
