Vetoquinol Nutri-Cal High-Calorie Nutritional Gel for Dogs & Cats (120.5g) Nutri-Cal provides concentrated energy for dogs and cats with high energy needs or low caloric intake. Encourages eating and provides supplemental calories for picky eaters or pets with reduced appetites. Recommended for pets recovering from surgery, illness, or trauma and those experiencing stress. Helps maintain or restore adequate blood sugar levels. Suitable for aging pets, working/hunting dogs, and lactating females. Same formulation as Tomlyn Nutri-Cal High Calorie Supplement.

Active ingredients: caloric base (corn syrup, malt syrup, soybean oil, fish oil), omega-3/-6/-9 fatty acids, vitamins A, D3, E, B-complex, minerals (calcium, iron, magnesium, manganese, iodine).

Dosage: to supplement intake, 1.5 tsp per 4.5 kg body weight daily; when not eating full ration, 3 tsp (1 tbsp) per 4.5 kg daily. Can be given directly into the mouth, mixed into food, or placed on the nose/paw. Use under veterinary supervision.

Safety: calorie- and fat-dense; monitor GI tolerance. Consult a veterinarian before use if the pet is overweight, diabetic, or has pancreatitis or metabolic issues. Store at room temperature 15-25C in a cool, dry place. For short-term/supplemental use, not a long-term diet replacement.
