Vetradent Water Additive for Dogs & Cats

VETRADENT® Water Additive for Dogs & Cats

VETRADENT® Water Additive provides an easy, brush-free way to support daily oral hygiene in dogs and cats. Added directly to drinking water, it helps reduce plaque and tartar accumulation while controlling the oral bacteria and sulphur compounds associated with unpleasant breath.

It is particularly convenient for pets that do not tolerate toothbrushing and may be used alongside brushing, dental wipes and veterinarian-recommended professional dental care.

Key Benefits

• Helps reduce plaque and tartar accumulation
• Supports a healthier oral environment
• Helps freshen breath
• Provides convenient daily dental care without brushing
• Suitable for dogs and cats
• Formulated for ongoing use

Key Ingredients and Properties

• Sodium citrate and citric acid: Bind minerals such as calcium, magnesium and iron within dental biofilm, helping weaken the environment in which plaque and tartar develop.
• Zinc chloride: Helps neutralize volatile sulphur compounds associated with bad breath and supports control of oral bacteria.
• Biotrate® Technology: A proprietary formulation designed to alter the oral environment, disrupt dental biofilm and limit conditions that allow plaque-associated bacteria to thrive.
• The formula is made with human food-grade ingredients and contains no xylitol, alcohol or chlorhexidine.

Directions for Use

1. Shake the bottle well before use.
2. Add 2 teaspoons (10 mL) to every 1 cup (250 mL) of fresh drinking water.
3. Provide the prepared water as your pet’s regular drinking water.
4. Discard any remaining solution, clean the bowl and prepare a fresh mixture every 24 hours.

Use daily for best results or as directed by a veterinarian. The same properly prepared water bowl may be shared by dogs and cats in a multi-pet household.

Safety Information

• For use in dogs and cats only.
• Avoid contact with the eyes.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Not for human consumption.
• Store according to the instructions on the product label.
• If your pet drinks less water after the product is introduced, provide access to fresh untreated water and contact a veterinarian for guidance. Never restrict access to drinking water.
• Stop use and consult a veterinarian if vomiting, diarrhea or another unusual reaction occurs.

VETRADENT® Water Additive is intended for daily, long-term oral care. Regular veterinary dental examinations remain important because a water additive cannot remove established tartar or replace professional dental cleaning when required.
